Timepage

The app for those who want a calendar to keep them more on top of things in their everyday lives.

Timepage – Moleskine Srl

I started using Google Calendar one day, per a friend’s request, but realized I was looking for something more visual and personal. I prioritize an application’s aesthetic qualities pretty high up the list, as there are so many of them and they need something to set themselves apart. This calendar app initially caught my eye because I saw it was developed by Moleskine, a stationary brand I’m a fan of. Their high quality products led me to believe this app would be nothing less, and I was not disappointed.

Double tap a date to start creating your event or reminder!

Now, there are too many functions so here is just a list accompanied with a short description:

Search – search for events

RSVP – any awaiting rsvp’s

Smart Alerts – alerts on rain, daily briefings, time to leave…etc

Siri Shortcuts – word commands to use in conjunction with this app

Widgets – little widgets to use with your calendar app

Preferences – More in-depth settings

Themes – change the color of your calendar and the actual icon on your phone screen!

*a note is that this is a subscription-based service after the trial period, however you can still use the calendar after the trial period; you just can’t add any events or basically any functionality of the app

  • Events from other calendars will sync onto this calendar
  • You can still change the color (> Themes)
  • The little number in the right upper corner of the app is the date

As you can see from the above image, Timepage is far superior in its aesthetics and presentation. Out of all these calendar apps, don’t you want the most visually pleasing and comprehensive one to put all your events and reminders, big or small, into? Using Timepage as my calendar has encouraged me to organize my events and include more details, helping me remember more and improving my efficiency. Sure, I could write everything down or try to remember what I have ahead of my day or week, but why do that when technology allows me to do more at the touch of my fingertips? Everything syncs to my electronic devices and I can access it anywhere. Although the presentation of the app seems like the only difference, the functionality on Timepage is far more vast and users can do so much more on it. Head to my Instagram account to check it out!
